With notes of garlic, a bit of salt, and roasted in the oven, this roasted Brussels sprouts recipe will give you a bit of crispy ness on the outside and a warm tender sprout on the inside.

What is great about roasting veggies is you can follow the guidelines a few times and then customize the recipe to you and your families tastes. Roast longer for more tender veggies with burnt edges or roast for less time for a semi roasted tray of veggies with a little more chew and more of a fresh earthy vibe. It’s all good!

Roasted Brussels sprouts

Ingredients

  • Fresh Brussels sprouts (1/2 a bag ) well rinsed and patted dry
  • olive oil
  • garlic powder to taste (start with 1 Tablespoon)
  • salt (about 1 tablespoon)

Directions

  1. preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Rinse Brussels sprouts thoroughly, pulling back any loose leaves to be sure there is no dirt .
    Cut the ends off and halve or quart any medium to large sprouts.
  3. place clean Brussels sprouts on baking sheet evenly and generously drizzle with olive oil.
  4. sprinkle garlic powder and salt all over the sprouts, then using a wooden spoon or your hands, mix or roll the Brussels sprouts around so that they are evenly coated in the garlic salt mixture
  5. bake at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 10-15 minutes checking often.
    They should be fork tender and have some blackened edges.
    Serve hot. Enjoy !
